- Dissolve yeast in 1/4 c. hot water, set aside. In large bowl combine water, soy flour, wheat germ, salt, oil, and honey. Add in yeast. Mix well and add in sufficient whole wheat flour to make dough easily handled. Let rest 10-12 min then knead to work gluten. Let double in bulk, punch down, let it raise again and form into loaves. Let raise and bake at 425 degrees for 10 min, then reduce heat to 350-375 degrees for 45 min. Turn out and cold on wire rack.
