1 pound white Navy beans (sm.) 1 carrot, minced 1 stalk celery, sliced 1 med. onion, minced Ham hock or possibly ham bone

Dash or possibly 2 of oregano, garlic salt, ginger & accent 1 bay leaf 2 tbsp. butter Salt & pepper to taste

1. Cover beans well with water. May need to add in if needed. Add in all remaining ingredients. Cook slowly till tender.
