- Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
- In large bowl, mix shortening, brown sugar, egg, and molasses until creamy. Stir in flour, baking soda, salt, cinnamon, ginger and cloves until mixture is well blended. By hand, stir in white chocolate chips.
- Drop spoonfuls onto a cookie sheet. Bake for 10-12 minutes. Cool on wire racks.
- Note: If baking at above 3500 feet, you can follow the adjustments in parenthesis.
