%20though.%20%20Friday%20night,%20just%20before%20I%20wrote%20this%20post,%20Adam%20did%20a%20big%20load%20of%20dishes%20while%20I%20cooked%20us%20a%20tasty,%20healthy%20dinner.%20%20And%20with%20any%20luck,%20by%20the%20time%20this%20scheduled%20post%20goes%20live%20I%20will%20have%20made%20it%20to%20the%20gym.%20%20Cross%20your%20sneakers%20for%20me?%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3Ebreakfast/snacks%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EAn%20apple%20and%20a%20coffee%20on%20the%20way%20to%20work,%20both%20fabulous.%20%20Sonya%20apple.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EBananas%20Foster%20cappuccino%20from%207-11.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EThe%20banana%20coffee%20was%20surprisingly%20delicious.%20%20But%20the%20Dream%20caramel%20almond%20milk%20latte%20I%20had%20the%20next%20day%20was%20even%20better.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EThis%20Extra%20cinnamon%20roll%20gum%20is%20so%20tasty.%20%20I%E2%80%99ve%20enjoyed%20the%20other%20Dessert%20Delights%20but%20tire%20of%20them%20quickly,%20but%20this%20flavor%20is%20enjoyable%20to%20the%20end.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EPeppermint%20candy%20my%20parents%20sent%20me%20from%20STT%E2%80%99s%20food%20fair%20for%20Carnival.%20%20It%20is%20basically%20sugar%20and%20peppermint%20oil%20smashed%20together%20%E2%80%93%20eating%20one%20is%20like%20chomping%20your%20teeth%20together%20during%20a%20cleaning%20at%20the%20dentist%20%E2%80%93%20and%20it%E2%80%99s%20one%20of%20my%20favorite%20things.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EVenti%20iced%20non-fat%20latte%20with%20my%20rewards%20freebie.%20%204%20shots%20of%20espresso%20/%202%20shots%20of%20white%20mocha%20/%20one%20very%20judgy%20look%20shot%20my%20way%20when%20the%20barista%20repeated%20back%20my%20order.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3ECheese%20and%20chocolate.%20%20A%20mix%20of%20what%20you%E2%80%99ll%20see%20below.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EAdam%20and%20I%20checked%20out%20the%20gorgeous%20Whole%20Foods%20on%203rd%20Ave%20in%20Brooklyn%20and%20came%20away%20with%20a%20couple%20of%20treats%20to%20share.%20%20Iced%20coffee.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EAnd%20a%20honey%20nougat%20chocolate%20bar.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EI%E2%80%99m%20not%20sure%20you%20can%20really%20call%20something%20a%20%E2%80%9Cturtle%E2%80%9D%20without%20caramel,%20but%20this%20new%20Uber%20Larabar%20was%20good.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EWhat%20is%20this?%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EIced%20coffee%20+%20lavender%20simple%20syrup%20+%20chocolate%20milk%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3E=%20lavender%20iced%20mocha%20%7Bfor%20the%20win%7D.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3Elunch%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3ELast%20Sunday,%20a%20girlfriend%20and%20I%20went%20to%20Smorgasburg%20in%20DUMBO.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EIt%20was%20even%20better%20than%20Saturday%E2%80%99s%20in%20Williamsburg.%20%20It%20is%20right%20on%20the%20water%20and%20there%20is%20a%20wonderful%20walking%20path.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EMy%20friend%20and%20I%20were%20food%20twins%20all%20day%20and%20we%20both%20quite%20enjoyed%20everything%20we%20chose.%20%20Coffee,%20obvs.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EA%20duck%20bun%20that%20had%20the%20most%20succulent%20meat%20I%E2%80%99ve%20ever%20tasted.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EAnd%20bubble%20tea.%20%20Honey%20and%20lavender%20tea%20with%20boba%20and%20lychee%20jelly.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3ECheese%20plate.%20%20Pear%20/%20apple%20/%20Chocolove%20Dark%20Chocolate%20Coffee%20Crunch%20/%20Kerrygold%20Dubliner%20Cheese.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EThe%20only%20lunch%20I%20managed%20to%20pack%20for%20work.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EPassion%20fruit%20Chobani.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EPlus%20a%20Blueberry%20Oat%20Almond%20Thin%20and%20a%20few%20dates.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3ESupplemented%20with%20a%20guava%20cheese%20empanada%20from%20the%20truck%20near%20my%20work.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EOh.%20My.%20God.%20%20The%20empanada%20was%20too%20fabulous.%20%20I%20grew%20up%20loving%20guava%20paste,%20but%20I%E2%80%99ve%20never%20had%20it%20paired%20with%20cheese%20before.%20%20The%20sweet%20and%20savory%20combo%20was%20insane.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EI%20ended%20up%20buying%20an%20empanada%20for%20my%20train-ride%20home%20the%20next%20two%20days%20in%20a%20row.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3Edinner%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EFrom%20the%20sea.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EI%20made%20fish%20salad%20out%20of%20leftover%20baked%20tilapia;%20shredded%20fish,%20Miracle%20Whip,%20relish,%20fresh%20dill,%20and%20Old%20Bay.%20%20On%20a%20pretzel%20roll,%20topped%20with%20roasted%20spring%20onions.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EPlus%20roasted%20green%20beans%20with%20Old%20Bay%20on%20the%20side.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EAnd%20a%20Southern%20Tier%20milk%20stout%20for%20sipping.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EAdam%20had%20the%20day%20off%20on%20Monday%20so%20he%20picked%20me%20up%20at%20work%20and%20we%20walked%20over%20to%20Fletcher%E2%80%99s%20BBQ%20for%20an%20awesome%20dinner.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EThey%20had%20Genesse%20Cream%20Ale.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EAnd%20this%20tray%20was%20the%20best%20bbq%20I%E2%80%99ve%20ever%20had,%20including%20what%20we%E2%80%99ve%20tried%20in%20the%20south.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EWe%20split%20mac%20and%20cheese,%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3Eand%20fridge%20pickles,%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3Eand%20each%20got%20a%20chopped%20chicken%20sandwich%20with%20slaw%20on%20top.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EWe%20smothered%20our%20sandwiches%20in%20bbq%20sauce%20and%20were%20absolutely%20swooning.%20%20And%20one%20of%20the%20men%20behind%20the%20counter%20saw%20how%20thrilled%20we%20were%20and%20sent%20us%20home%20with%20a%20container%20of%20sauce%20to%20go!%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EWe%20topped%20off%20our%20night%20by%20moseying%20next%20door%20for%20pie.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EA%20rosemary%20shoefly%20slice%20that%20was%20interesting%20but%20not%20quite%20sweet%20enough%20for%20our%20tastes.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EMy%20healthy/easy/tasty%20Friday%20dinner.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3ERoasted%20broccoli.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EAnd%20ridiculous%20melts.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EA%20maple%20French%20toast%20bagel%20topped%20with%20sweet%20and%20spicy%20pepper%20jam,%20smoked%20turkey,%20sliced%20Brie,%20and%20Hickory%20and%20Sage%20Smoked%20Seitan%20Bacon.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EThe%20%E2%80%9Cbacon%E2%80%9D%20was%20part%20of%20a%20sample%20I%20received%20from%20Sweet%20Earth.%20%20This%20vegan,%20non-gmo,%20no%20nitrate%20bacon%20has%2010%20grams%20of%20protein,%2090%20calories,%20and%200.5%20grams%20of%20saturated%20fat%20per%20serving.%20%20The%20ingredients%20were%20all%20things%20I%20could%20recognize,%20like%20buckwheat%20groats,%20coconut,%20and%20maple.%20%20We%20were%20big%20fans.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EHope%20everyone%E2%80%99s%20having%20a%20great%20weekend!%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3ELike%20Loading...%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3ERelated%3C/p%3E){kind=link}
