%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EI%20am%20married%20to%20a%20most%20wonderful%20man,%20and%20we%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3Ehave%20two%20amazing%20boys.%20I'm%20home%20on%20maternity%20leave%20until%20August,%20and%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3Ethe%20extra%20time%20at%20home%20has%20really%20helped%20me%20with%20my%20cooking%20resolution.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EToday%20I%20will%20be%20sharing%20with%20you%20a%20new%20recipe%20that%20I%20recently%20tried%20for%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3Ethe%20first%20time...and%20it%20was%20a%20huge%20hit%20with%20my%20boys!%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EA%20few%20days%20ago,%20I%20had%20my%20LAST%20duty%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3Eday%20of%20the%20school%20year%20at%20preschool.%20I%20cannot%20believe%20that%20the%20school%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3Eyear%20is%20nearly%20OVER.%20Where%20did%20that%20year%20go?%20Our%20oldest%20will%20be%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3Estarting%20KINDERGARTEN%20in%20September!%20Didn't%20I%20just%20have%20him?%20Seems%20like%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3Eyesterday,%20not%205%20years%20ago!%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EThat%20last%20duty%20day%20also%20happened%20to%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3Ebe%20a%20dreadfully%20dreary%20day.%20We're%20caught%20in%20some%20wicked%20weather%20system%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3Ethat%20is%20dumping%20rain,%20rain,%20rain%20on%20us.%20It%20was%20a%20homemade%20chicken%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3Enoodle%20soup%20kind%20of%20day,%20but%20with%20my%20necessity%20to%20be%20at%20school,%20I%20didn't%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3Ehave%20the%20time%20to%20put%20it%20together.%20So%20it%20became%20spaghetti%20night,%20or%20so%20I%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3Ethought.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EOnce%20school%20was%20over%20for%20the%20day,%20I%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3Ehad%20NO%20DESIRE%20to%20make%20spaghetti.%20But%20what%20could%20I%20do%20with%20the%20ground%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3Ebeef%20that%20I%20had%20laid%20out?%20Meatloaf?%20My%20boys%20would%20LOVE%20that...me,%20not%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3Eso%20much.%20What%20to%20do,%20what%20to%20do.%20I%20thought%20about%20my%20Dad's%20%22Hash%22%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3Erecipe%20(which%20essentially%20is%20a%20whole%20bunch%20of%20stuff%20hashed%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3Etogether...with%20a%20ground%20beef%20base%20and%20add%20in%20all%20the%20leftovers%20from%20the%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3Efridge)%20-%20but%20we%20are%20all%20out%20of%20leftovers.%20So%20then%20I%20thought%20about%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EHamburger%20Helper.%20I've%20seen%20it%20on%20TV%20many%20times,%20never%20tried%20making%20it%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3Eon%20my%20own.%20A%20quick%20little%20google%20search,%20read%20through%20some%20recipes,%20and%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3Efound%20one%20to%20base%20dinner%20on.%20The%20recipe%20I%20used%20was%20found%20at%20Food.com,%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3Eand%20modified%20to%20include%20more%20vegetables.%20Here%20is%20my%20version:%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3ECook%20the%20pasta%20according%20to%20the%20directions.%20Drain%20and%20set%20aside.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EWhile%20the%20pasta%20is%20cooking,%20cook%20the%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3Eground%20beef%20over%20medium%20in%20a%20large%20skillet.%20Cook%20until%20the%20meat%20is%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3Ebrowned.%20Add%20in%20all%20the%20dry%20seasonings%20(including%20the%20flour)%20and%20stir%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3Euntil%20combined.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EAdd%20in%20the%20milk,%20tomato%20sauce%20and%20peas.%20Bring%20to%20a%20boil,%20stirring%20frequently.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EReduce%20heat%20to%20low,%20cover,%20and%20simmer%20for%202%20minutes.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EAdd%20in%20the%20cream%20cheese,%20cheddar%20cheese,%20stir%20until%20melted.%20Add%20in%20the%20macaroni,%20stir%20to%20combine.%20Serve%20immediately.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EVERDICT:%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EThis%20was%20an%20absolute%20HIT.%20Our%20five%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3Eyear%20old%20had%20THREE%20helpings.%20And%20my%20husband%20loved%20it%20too.%20%20He%20didn't%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3Ewant%20to%20share%20the%20leftovers%20for%20lunch%20the%20next%20day,%20he%20wanted%20them%20all%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3Eto%20himself.%20This%20could%20easily%20be%20a%20new%20go-to%20recpe%20for%20us%20in%20place%20of%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3Espaghetti!%20Yay!!%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EWould%20love%20for%20you%20to%20visit%20me%20over%20at%20Addicted%20to%20Recipes!%20You%20can%20find%20me%20on%20Facebook%20too!%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EPin%20It%3C/p%3E){kind=link}
