2 c. flour, sifted 1/2 teaspoon salt 6 tbsp. confectioner's sugar 1/2 c. butter

1/2 c. shortening 1 teaspoon vanilla 2/3 c. minced walnuts Some confectioner's sugar to roll cookies in

Инструкции

1. Cream butter, shortening and sugar. Put flour and salt in gradually. Add in vanilla and nuts. Refrigeratedough. Shape into crescents and place on ungreased cookie sheet. Bake at 350 degrees for 15-18 min till edges are very slightly browned. While cookies are still hot, roll in confectioner's sugar.
2. This was the favorite Christmas cookie, year after year, in our family.
