Рецепт Waffle Iron Barbecue Chicken Sandwich
So, yep. I did this thang.
I said forget you panini press. I don’t need you! I have a waffle iron!
My panini press cried for hours, but my waffle iron was super excited.
Alright, so actually, Imma let you in on a little secret. My appliances? They’re not alive. They have no feelings. I just imaging them competing with each other to get the most use because it amuses me while washing dishes.
So, anyway, I do have a panini press and I do love it. It works really great and is easy to clean.
However, I also have a waffle maker. Two actually. I have this belgian maker for making my perfect waffle recipe and I have this cheap-0 model because sometimes I don’t want big round waffles. Sometimes I want small square waffles.
If you’re my husband, you are rolling your eyes and taking away my credit cards right now. Sorry, honey. But, yes, square waffles totally taste different than round waffles. I mean, duh.
So, I used the square waffle maker for this sandwich and it worked perfectly!
I mean, these waffle sandwiches are so much fun I can hardly deal! With just a few simple ingredients you can have a seriously fancy sandwich. Sure, it’s only fancy because it’s waffled, but whatever. I still call that fancy, don’t you?
You can use a bottled barbecue sauce here or use my homemade barbecue sauce. I used cheddar for the cheese, but havarti is always a good choice. And I went ahead and dipped my sandwich in ranch, because I dip all the things in ranch. I’m from the Midwest. It’s what we do here. You can skip that part or you can dip it in extra barbecue or you can do whatever the heck you want. It’s your sandwich, after all.
Go forth and waffle all the things.
