Ингредиенты

  • 3 pound veal stew meat, cut in 1" cubes
  • 1/4 c. extra virgin olive oil
  • Salt & pepper
  • 2-3 onions, sliced
  • 2 cloves garlic
  • 1 stick cinnamon
  • Rosemary
  • 3 tbsp. red wine
  • 1 tbsp. brown sugar
  • 3 tbsp. tomato paste
  • 2 c. beer
  • Water, optional

Инструкции

  1. Brown veal in some of the extra virgin olive oil. Remove to casserole. Add in salt and pepper. Saute/fry 2-3 onions sliced and 2 cloves garlic in remaining oil for 3-4 min. Add in to veal.
  2. Combine cinnamon stick, rosemary, red wine, brown sugar, tomato paste and beer. When beer stops foaming, add in mix to veal. Bake covered for 2 1/2-3 hrs at 350 degrees. Add in a little water if it looks dry.
