Рецепт Vanjaram Meen Varuval (Seer Fish Fry)
Ingredients:
Seer Fish (Vanjaram Meen) - 500 gms, cleaned, washed
Dry Red Chillies - 10
- Saunf - 1 tsp
- Coconut - 4 tsp, grated
- Sambar Onions - 4, peeled
- Salt as per taste
- Turmeric Powder - 1 tsp
- Tamarind - 1 small ball
- Coriander Leaves - 1 bunch, chopped
- Oil - 250 ml
Method:
1. Combine and grind together the red chillies, saunf, small onions, coconut and tamarind.
2. Add salt and mix well.
3. Then rub this all over the fish pieces and keep aside for 30 to 40 minutes.
4. Heat oil in a deep frying pan.
5. Fry the fish on both sides until golden brown.
6. Remove and drain excess oil.
7. Garnish with coriander leaves.
8. Serve hot.
