1 1/2 c. flour
1 c. sugar
1 stick butter

3/4 teaspoon baking pwdr
1 egg
1 teaspoon vanilla

Beat all ingredients till well blended. Drop dough by tsp. 2 inches apart on ungreased cookie sheet. Bake at 350 degrees for 10 to 12 min or possibly till edges are lightly browned. Yield: approximately 4 dozen.
