URULAI KIZHANGU PATTANI PORIYAL | POTATO PEAS PORIYAL Potato Peas Fry - Ingredients
Preparation Time :30 minutes | Cooking Time : 15 minutes
Recipe Category: Sides | Recipe Cuisine: South Indian Boiled Potato - 3 number , diced
Peas - 1/2 cup , Pre-cooked
Onion - 1 number , chopped
Garlic Pods - 3 numbers , crushed Oil - 2 teaspoon
Mustard seeds - 1/2 teaspoon
Urad dhal - 1/2 teaspoon
Red chilli Powder - 1 teaspoon
Turmeric Powder - 1/2 teaspoon
Hing - 1/4 teaspoon
Salt - to taste URULAI KIZHANGU PATTANI PORIYAL | POTATO PEAS PORIYAL Method :
Heat oil in a wok . Add the mustard seeds and allow them to pop . Now add the urad dhal and fry till they become brown in color . Add the crushed garlic and fry till raw smell goes away . Add the onion and cook till they become soft .
Add the turmeric powder , salt , Red chilli powder , Hing and mix well .
Add the Boiled Potato and Mix .
Fry them well that the potatoes are well coated with the spice powders . Now add in the Boiled peas and Mix them well .
Done ! Urulai Kilangu Pattani Poriyal or Potato Peas Fry is ready to be served .
Serve the Potato Peas Fry with Steamed Rice and a curry .
