  • Grated rind of 1 orange
  • Grated rind of 1 lemon
  • 1/4 c. fresh orange juice
  • 1/4 c. butter, softened
  • 1 egg yolk
  • 1/8 teaspoon salt
  • 2 teaspoon lemon juice
  • 3 1/2 c. (1 lb.) confectioners' sugar

  1. Combine rinds and orange juice. Let stand 10 min. Strain if you like. Cream butter till light. Add in egg yolk, salt and lemon juice. Gradually add in confectioners' sugar. Makes 2 1/2 c..
