%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EI%20actually%20did%20manage%20to%20come%20up%20with%20a%20dish%20and%20get%20it%20prepared%20by%20the%20deadline%20-%20despite%20my%20stupid%20messed%20up%20finger,%20which%20is%20making%20me%20so%20f$%23@ing%20clumsy!%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EI'm%20actually%20pretty%20sure%20my%20injured%20digit%20is%20acting%20independently%20of%20the%20rest%20of%20my%20hand%20as%20payback%20for%20being%20dumb%20enough%20to%20stick%20it%20in%20a%20plugged%20in%20appliance%20meant%20to%20pulverize%20food%20items.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EAnyways,%20like%20I%20said,%20I%20finished%20the%20dish%20and%20then%20left%20to%20walk%20the%20puppies,%20deciding%20I%20would%20photograph%20and%20post%20when%20I%20got%20home.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EAnd%20then%20I%20fell%20through%20the%20ice....into%20the%20water.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3ENo%20fear%20faithful%20readers,%20it%20wasn't%20very%20deep%20(otherwise%20I%20wouldn't%20have%20been%20out%20there%20-%20I%20do%20have%20some%20common%20sense.%20I'm%20not%20sure%20where%20it's%20vacationing%20this%20week%20but%20I%20do%20have%20some.)%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EI%20was%20soaked%20up%20to%20about%20the%20butt%20area%20and%20we%20were%20luckily%20close%20to%20home%20so%20I%20walked%20as%20fast%20possible%20with%20soggy%20boots%20and%20frozen%20stiff%20pants%20back%20to%20the%20house%20-%20with%20SeaBass%20laughing%20his%20own%20dry%20butt%20off%20behind%20me.%20He's%20such%20a%20comfort.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EThe%20upshot%20of%20the%20situation%20is%20that%20by%20the%20time%20I%20got%20dry%20and%20warm%20and%20comfortable%20again%20it%20was%20night.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EAnd%20this%20is%20what%20it%20looks%20like%20when%20I%20try%20to%20shoot%20food%20at%20night%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EIt%20looks%20poopy%20and%20I%20will%20not%20settle%20for%20it.%20I%20determined%20to%20give%20up%20the%20competition%20deadline%20and%20re-shoot%20the%20next%20day.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EWhich%20is%20when%20Sugar%20Dog%20got%20attacked%20by%20another%20meanie%20dog%20at%20the%20local%20dog%20park%20leaving%20her%20with%20some%20serious%20gashes%20(this%20is%20after%20the%20oven%20cleaning%20extravaganza.)%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EThis%20brings%20me%20to%20today.%20And%20now%20I'm%20ready.%20Are%20you?%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EThis%20month's%20ingerdients%20were:%20ginger,%20dates%20and%20couscous.%20Totally%20out%20of%20my%20element%20but%20I%20was%20pretty%20happy%20with%20what%20I%20made.%20My%20measurements%20are%20pretty%20loose%20because%20I%20was%20really%20still%20playing%20with%20the%20dish%20but%20I'd%20like%20to%20share%20it%20anyways.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3Es&p%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EPrepare%20couscous%20as%20directed.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3ESaute%20prepared%20couscous%20and%20toasted%20pine%20nuts%20(or%20almonds)%20in%20pan%20with%20butter.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EStir%20in%20orange%20juice%20and%20zest.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3ESeason%20with%20s&p.%3C/p%3E){kind=link}
