Рецепт Twenty-Four Hour Salad
Did you make a New Year's Resolution to eat healthier and lose weight?
I didn't either.
Past experience has taught me not to make resolutions, but instead to make goals. Which really, if you think about it, are one in the same…sort of.
Every year I make the same promise to myself…that I'm going to drop the pounds and come down to the size I was 20 years ago…before the husband and kids came along.
…..and every year, I fail….miserably.
This year will be different.
There will be no resolutions to lose weight and no time-line to do it by.
This year, I am just making a solemn vow to better myself…emotionally and physically…and let that be that.
If I happen to lose 15 pounds while doing it, great.
If not, there's always next year.
At least that's what I'm telling myself ;)
Luckily this salad will help with things. Sort of.
It has mayonnaise in it, which I hear is a big fat no-no while trying to lose weight.
Oh well is what I will have to say to that.
This is what portion control and lots of water is for….right ladies?
Hey…at least it has veggies in it…which is a big fat yes in the weight loss department.
Or so I've been told.
We've eaten it three times so far and it's normally when we have left over vegetables that are on the verge of going bad.
I have no clue why it's called 24 Hour Salad.
It looks like one of those 7 layer salads if you ask me.
Whatever you decide to call it…make sure to include the mayo ;)
