- Brown the lamb shanks in the hot oil in a frying pan. Transfer to a casserole.
- Scatter over the mushrooms and onions.
- Pour over the Wattie's Traditional Garlic Pasta Sauce , red wine and add the olives if using.
- Bake at 180°C for about 1 hour or until the lamb shanks are tender.
- Serve hot over mashed potato, polenta or pasta
