- Beat 3 Large eggs slightly. Stir in 1 1/2 c. grated raw turnip, alternately with 3 c. scalded sweet lowfat milk, seasoned to taste with salt, pepper, nutmeg. Beat briskly till foamy. Stir in 1 tsp. each of grated onion, minced parsley and green pepper and 3 Tbsp. of melted butter. Turn into buttered baking dish, dust with 1/2 Tbsp. granulated sugar. Bake in moderate oven (350 degrees) for 40 to 45 min, or possibly till set. Serve at once from baking dish.
