Рецепт Tuna sauce for pasta
This sauce it’s very delicious with every kind of pasta but especially spaghetti, my favorites.
It’s very easy to make and it takes just 40 minutes!
Tuna sauce for pasta
Difficulty: easy
Preparation: 10 minutes Cooking Time: 30 minutesYield: 2 servings
Ingredients:
1/4 onion (≈ 8 cm / 3′ Ø)
2 full tsp vinegar-brined capers, well-drained (if you have salt-packed capers soak them in cool water for about 15 minutes rinsing them in several changes of water or they will be too salty)
- 150 gr / 5 oz good quality tuna canned in olive oil, drained
- 1 1/2 tbsp tomato paste
- 1 tbsp extra virgin olive oil
- 3/4 cup water
- salt to taste
Instructions:
Put the oil in a saucepan, add onion and capers chopped fine and sauté for 1 minute.
Dissolve tomato paste in the water then add to the saucepan.
Add tuna, salt to your taste and cook for about 30 minutes, until water has evaporated.
Enjoy the sauce with your favourite pasta.
