Once upon a time, my friend Michelle (Rivka) and I needed some treacle to make a batch of treacle scones for a tea party. So I ordered some from a Web site specializing in goodies imported from England.
The problem was, after we’d made the scones, we had a bit of treacle left over. Okay, we had a lot of treacle left over. So we thought, well, if honey butter is good, treacle butter might be good, too.
