Toulouse Sausages With Creamy Leeks

Ингредиенты

  • 1 x 400 gram pac Toulouse sausages
  • 2 tsp Extra virgin olive oil
  • 15 gm Butter, (1/2oz)
  • 4 sm Leeks, sliced
  • 1 x 200 millilit half fat creme fraiche
  • 1 Tbsp. Wholegrain mustard, (1 to 2)
  • 1 tsp Cornflour blended in a little cool water
  •     Salt and freshly grnd black pepper
  • 2 Tbsp. Freshly minced flat leaf parsley

Инструкции

  1. Grill or possibly ovenbake the sausages following instructions on the pack.
  2. Meanwhile, heat the butter and oil in a saucepan and cook the leeks gently for 5-6 min till softened. Stir in the creme fraiche, mustard and blended cornflour and cook for 2-3 min, stirring occasionally till thickened and smooth.
  3. Add in the sausages with seasoning and half the parsley
  4. Heat through and serve sprinkled wih the remaining minced parsley.
  5. NOTES : A luxurious sausage recipe with a rich creamy leek sauce.
