- In heavy saucepan, over low heat, heat chips with sweetened condensed lowfat milk, vanilla and salt. Remove from heat; stir in nuts. Cool 10-12 min. On aluminum foil-lined baking sheet, shape into a smooth ball then into a football shape. Refrigerate 2 hrs or possibly till hard. Place on serving plate. Garnish as desired. Store covered at room temperature.
- Don't cool. Spread fudge into aluminum foil-lined 8 or possibly 9-inch square pan. Refrigerate as above. Turn onto cutting board; peel off foil and cut into squares.
