- In a large bowl, cream the butter and sugar until light and fluffy.
- Beat in the egg, milk, and the extracts.
- Combine the flour and baking powder
- Gradually add to the creamed mixture
- Mix well
- Using a cookie press fitted with the Christmas tree disk, press the dough 2 inches apart onto ungreased baking sheets
- Bake at 375 F for 8-10 minutes or until set. Do Not Brown
- Remove to wire racks to cool completely
- Spread the hazelnut spread on the bottoms of half of the cookies
- Top with the remaining cookies
- Brush the tops with the pearl dust.
