Ingredients: 1 c. Sugar; 5 x Large eggs; 1/2 c. Butter; 1 1/2 c. Lowfat milk; 2 Tbsp. Corn syrup; 1 tsp Vanilla; 2 x Tart apples, peeled & sliced; 1 loaf French bread; 1 c. Apple sauce; 1 x Ten oz jar apple jelly; 1/2 tsp Cinnamon; 1/8 tsp Grnd cloves; 1 dsh Salt

Ингредиенты

1 c. Sugar
5 x Large eggs
1/2 c. Butter
1Â 1/2 c. Lowfat milk
2 Tbsp. Corn syrup
1 tsp Vanilla
2 x Tart apples, peeled & sliced
1 loaf French bread
1 c. Apple sauce
1 x Ten oz jar apple jelly
1/2 tsp Cinnamon
1/8 tsp Grnd cloves
1 dsh Salt

Инструкции

Cook sugar, butter and syrup till syrupy, pour into a 9 x 13 inch baking dish. Spread apple slices over this. Slice bread into 3/4 inch slices and place on top of apple slices. Whisk together remaining ingredients and pour over bread. Cover and chill overnight. Bake uncovered for 40 min in a 350 degree oven. Serve with spicy apple syrup.
Spicy Apple Syrup: Combine all ingredients in small saucepan. Cook over medium heat, stirring consistently till jelly melts and syrup is warm.
