%20However%20she%20would%20woefully%20say%20to%20us%20when%20we'd%20visit%20how%20sorry%20she%20was%20that%20these%20were%20not%20one%20of%20her%20better%20batches.%20WTH?%20They%20were%20always%20good!%20She%20was%20just%20overly%20perfectionistic!%20So%20the%20more%20I%20see%20recipes%20done%20on%20TV%20about%20biscuits%20and%20the%20flaky%20layers%20and%20the%20such...I%20wanted%20the%20same.%20%20See%20the%20monster%20you%20created%20in%20me%20Me-mom?%20%20Warning%20the%20recipe%20provided%20is%20good%20but%20it's%20really%20about%20the%20PROCESS%20of%20the%20dough%20folding.%20%20Trust%20me,%20don't%20ignore%20this%20warning,%20it's%20more%20about%20the%20folding%20than%20the%20recipe.%20%20I%20had%20to%20make%20this%20about%205%20times%20to%20understand%20this.%20%20Don't%20be%20stubborn%20like%20me.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3ESorry,%20I%20was%20too%20busy%20cooking%20on%20Thanksgiving....and%20we%20wanted%20to%20eat!%20But%20I%20included%20this%20picture%20because%20the%20real%20standout%20recipe%20that%20was%20new%20this%20year%20that%20I%20would%20DEFINITELY%20make%20again%20was%20the%20Chipotle%20Sweet%20Potatoes.%20%20Sweet%20Heat.%20%20We%20loved%20it.%20%20I%20think%20I%20enhanced%20the%20recipe%20by%20adding%20just%20a%20touch%20of%20brown%20sugar%201/4-1/2%20cup%20to%20bump%20the%20sweetness.%20%20I%20buy%20those%20chipotle%20peppers%20in%20a%20can%20and%20separate%20the%20peppers%20out%20in%20their%20own%20baggie%20with%20some%20of%20the%20sauce%20and%20store%20them%20in%20the%20freezer!%20That%20is%20what%20this%20recipe%20called%20for%20ONE%20of%20those%20hot%20suckers%20in%20these%20here%20taters!%20Barely%20seen%20on%20the%20right...LOL%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EChristmas%20Holiday%20Party!%20We%20invited%20the%20neighbors%20to%20meet%20and%20greet.%20%20We%20hadn't%20done%20it%20in%20a%20long%20time.%20%20Those%20who%20came,%20we%20had%20a%20blast.%20%20Might%20consider%20doing%20this%20again,%20maybe%20a%20tradition...Hey,%20it's%20gets%20the%20house%20cleaned%20too!%20LOL.%20%20Found%20most%20of%20my%20ideas%20on%20Pinterest,%20modified%20them%20like%20the%20appetizer%20tree%20below.%20%20When%20I%20figured%20out%20that%20only%20half%20of%20the%20neighbors%20were%20coming%20I%20chopped%20half%20of%20my%20styrofoam%20cone%20down%20(AC%20Moore,%20Michael's%20Craft%20stores,%20Jo-Ann's).%20Covered%20in%20plastic%20wrap.%20It%20was%20fun%20to%20assemble%20but%20really%20appropriate%20for%20a%20large%20crowd.%20We%20had%20much%20of%20this%20tree%20left%20over.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EThis%20was%20adorably%20cute%20but%20I'd%20use%20a%20different%20recipe.%20%20Bottom%20half%20was%20mustard,%20onion%20with%20cheddar%20cheese%20and%20the%20top%20(head)%20was%20a%20pesto.%20%20Coated%20in%20Parmesan%20cheese.%20%20I%20just%20wasn't%20WOW'ed%20by%20the%20flavors.%20%20Use%20the%20favorite%20cheese%20ball%20recipe%20of%20your%20own%20and%20use%20the%20picture%20as%20a%20base%20how%20to%20SCULP%20your%20snowman.%20%20I%20will%20include%20the%20link%20so%20you%20can%20be%20your%20own%20judge%20if%20you%20like%20it%20or%20not.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EI%20have%20made%20this%20Ranch%20Veggie%20Tree%20numerous%20times.%20%20Kids%20even%20love%20it.%20%20Very%20easy.%20%20I%20tweak%20their%20version%20on%20Pillsbury.com%20by%20using%20dry%20ranch%20mix%20in%20whipped%20cream%20cheese%20and%20my%20decoration%20of%20the%20tree%20is%20more%20prominent.%20Their%20site%20includes%20a%20video%20if%20you%20need%20it.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EClassic%20Sausage%20Ball%20recipe%20by%20Bisquick.%20%20Next%20year%20I%20am%20making%20it%20with%20their%20Gluten%20Free%20mix%20since%20I%20have%20a%20GF%20neighbor%20and%20I%20would%20like%20to%20give%20her%20more%20options%20next%20time.%20%20Also%20I%20think%20I%20will%20hunt%20for%20an%20optional%20dipping%20sauce%20as%20well.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EI%20am%20NOT%20a%20seafood%20eater,%20however%20my%20husband%20is.%20%20A%20good%20host%20has%20to%20please%20other%20people%20than%20herself,%20so%20sometimes%20she's%20gotta%20'suck%20it%20up'%20and%20touch%20smell%20fish!%20K-man%20raved%20about%20this%20so%20this%20recipe%20will%20be%20repeated%20to%20keep%20him%20and%20my%20other%20guests%20in%20the%20future%20happy.%20%20Thanks%20Pioneer%20Woman!%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EEasy%20Peasy!%20Phyllo%20Shells,%20brie%20and%20Cranberry%20Sauce.%20%20Just%20melt%20brie%20for%20about%205%20minutes%20in%20the%20oven%20and%20top%20with%20cranberry%20sauce.%20%20Yum!%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EJust%20a%20peek%20of%20the%20SPREAD....%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EParty%20Sweets!%20%20Top:%20Oreo%20Truffles,%20Middle:%20Salted%20Caramel%20Bon-Bons%20and%20Bottom:%20Pretzel%20Kisses%20and%20Pecan%20Rolo%20Pretzel%20Bites.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3ESchool%20Staff%20Food%20Gifts...Oreo%20Snowman%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EI%20tweaked%20this%20idea%20with%20adding%20sprinkles,%20and%20pull%20apart%20licorice%20garland.%20%20Staff%20loved%20them!%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3ELastly,%20I%20just%20wanted%20an%20old%20standby%20for%20a%20sweet%20treat%20during%20the%20holidays.%20%20Shortbread,%20simple,%20satisfies,%20makes%20m
