%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3E1%20steak%20(1/2%22%20thick)%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EDirections%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3E1:%20Combine%20everything%20in%20a%20shallow%20dish.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3E2:%20Marinate%20the%20steaks%20for%20at%20least%20two%20hours.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3E3:%20Grill%20over%20a%20charcoal%20fire.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EThe%20Devil%E2%80%99s%20Garden%20%E2%80%93%20Reviewed%20by%20Martha%20A.%20Cheves,%20Author%20of%20Stir,%20Laugh,%20Repeat;%20Think%20With%20Your%20Taste%20Buds;%20A%20Book%20and%20a%20Dish%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EThe%20conference%20room%20was%20full%20of%20police%20officers,%20social%20workers,%20and%20attorneys%20from%20the%20district%20attorney%E2%80%99s%20office.%20The%20staff%20psychologist,%20Dr.%20Coffee,%20was%20in%20attendance%20as%20well.%20Everyone%20was%20trying%20to%20piece%20together%20the%20night%E2%80%99s%20events.%20Officer%20Shelley%20was%20in%20a%20corner%20of%20the%20room%20on%20the%20phone%20with%20the%20investigative%20team%20in%20the%20field.%20%E2%80%9CAlright,%20let%E2%80%99s%20go%20over%20what%20we%E2%80%99ve%20learned%20so%20far,%E2%80%9D%20Detective%20Collier%20told%20his%20team%20as%20he%20tried%20to%20get%20everyone%E2%80%99s%20attention%20and%20get%20them%20to%20focus.%20%E2%80%9CWe%20have%20four%20dead%20men%20at%20the%20Colsons%E2%80%99%20residence%20and%20two%20more%20dead%20mean%20in%20a%20plane%20that%20crashed%20into%20Calusa%20Harbor.%20All%20of%20which%20happened%20by%20Mr.%20Colson%E2%80%99s%20hand%20and%20by%20his%20own%20admission.%E2%80%9D%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EBrandon%20Colson%E2%80%99s%20training%20had%20been%20extensive.%20He%20had%20served%20as%20a%20Recon%20Marine%20with%20extensive%20training%20in%20guerrilla%20warfare,%20jungle%20survival,%20desert%20survival,%20underwater%20demo,%20just%20to%20name%20a%20few,%20so%20when%20a%20group%20of%20Muslims%20attacked%20his%20family%20he%20took%20matters%20into%20his%20own%20hands%20and%20defended%20them%20the%20way%20he%20had%20been%20trained.%20Four%20never%20made%20it%20out%20of%20Brandon%E2%80%99s%20home,%20two%20made%20it%20to%20the%20plane%20but%20were%20shot%20down,%20two%20more%20did%20escape%20with%20one%20injured.%20Those%20two%20will%20forever%20wish%20they%20had%20died%20with%20their%20friends%20for%20Brandon%20would%20not%20give%20up%20until%20he%20found%20them.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EPolice%20Detective%20Samuel%20Collier%20has%20the%20duty%20of%20trying%20to%20make%20Brandon%20talk.%20Who%20were%20these%20men?%20Where%20did%20they%20come%20from?%20Why%20were%20they%20at%20Brandon%E2%80%99s%20home?%20Why%20did%20they%20want%20to%20kill%20him?%20Brandon%E2%80%99s%20answer%20is%20plain%20and%20simple%E2%80%A6%20I%20killed%20them.%20Before%20charges%20can%20be%20brought%20against%20Brandon,%20Homeland%20Security%20steps%20in%20and%20Brandon%20is%20released.%20Sam%20is%20assigned%20by%20his%20superior%20to%20stick%20to%20him%20like%20glue,%20not%20knowing%20what%20this%20assignment%20is%20going%20to%20get%20him%20into.%20His%20first%20taste%20of%20the%20dangers%20come%20when%20Brandon%20and%20Sam%20embark%20on%20a%20mosque%20that%20Brandon%20feels%20will%20lead%20him%20to%20the%20two%20that%20escaped%20him%20as%20well%20as%20their%20reason%20for%20the%20attack.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EThe%20Devil%E2%80%99s%20Garden%20is%20truly%20a%20man%E2%80%99s%20book%20but%20I%20have%20to%20admit%20that%20I%20didn%E2%80%99t%20want%20to%20put%20it%20down.%20I%20can%E2%80%99t%20say%20it%20is%20an%20enjoyable%20book%20due%20to%20the%20graphics%20but%20I%20can%20say%20that%20it%20was%20an%20extremely%20interesting%20book.%20Brandon%20is%20a%20strong%20minded,%20God%20fearing%20man.%20He%20trusts%20in%20God%20to%20see%20him%20through%20all%20dangers%20while%20serving%20as%20a%20Marine%20as%20well%20as%20living%20as%20a%20civilian.%20He%20also%20trusts%20in%20God%20to%20help%20him%20do%20whatever%20needs%20to%20be%20done%20to%20protect%20the%20innocent%20and%20to%20not%20allow%20him%20to%20shed%20the%20blood%20of%20anyone%20innocent%20that%20he%20may%20come%20across.%20The%20Devil%E2%80%99s%20Garden%20is%20a%20very%20intense%20book%20written%20by%20an%20author%20that%20served%20as%20a%20Recon%20Marine%20and%20has%20written%20about%20something%20that%20he%20apparently%20knows%20a%20lot%20about%20with%20a%20lot%20of%20it%20probably%20being%20through%20experience.%20I%20can%20just%20see%20this%20being%20made%20into%20a%20movie%20with%20a%20strong%20actor%20like%20Mel%20Gibson%20being%20Brandon.%3C/p%3E){kind=link}
