Рецепт Thanksgiving Favorites
by Our Best Bites

We’re going to go completely out of order and skip to dessert next. If Kate’s turkey is the most popular bird around here, my Pumpkin Cheesecake with Gingersnap Crust is the most popular dessert. Cookie crust, creamy cheesecake, whipped cream, caramel, candied pecans. Oh have mercy. –> Get the Recipe Here! <–

Another favorite dessert is this layered Pumpkin Pie Toffee Cheesecake. Pie + Cheesecake + Toffee. Can’t really go wrong there. –> Get the Recipe Here <–

And if you’re looking for something totally different, and you have our latest cook book, check out the Gingerbread Pumpkin Trifle on page 194. (I should add- because a few people have asked, that the directions are a bit confusing and you should know that it calls for one little packet of gelatin. Not the entire box!) You can make it in a big trifle bowl, or in individual serving dishes or glasses. Gorgeous and delicious!

Soft tender rolls are a must for any holiday table. Kate’s World’s Best Dinner Rolls are appropriately named. –> Get the Recipe Here <–

Not into making your own yeast breads? No worries! We won’t tell. Grab a bag of frozen Rhodes rolls and fancy them up by using either our Garlicky Parmesan Recipe (pictured below) or this awesome decorative herb trick.

If you’re looking for a unique side dish, look no further. Classic Spoonbread is kind of a combination of corn bread, and a souffle. This Sweet Corn Spoonbread is one of my newest additions to our yearly round-up, and the recipe tutorial will show you two different ways to make it: Savory with cheese and chives, or sweet, drizzled with honey. Both are out of this world! Get the Recipe by –> Clicking Here <–

In my house growing up, we could never decide between our two favorite Sweet potato dishes, so in addition to those Candied Coconut ones, we always, always had our Baked Apples and Sweet Potatoes as well. These are seriously like dessert. You can find them on page 170 of our Savoring the Seasons cook book!

Speaking of beans, one of my favorites is our Homemade Green Bean Casserole from our latest cook book. No cream-of-anything soup here, all from scratch and amazingly flavorful. Page 164! (and bake that at 350. For some reason the baking time is not in there!)

And I love dressing recipes that start with sourdough bread. One of my favorites is my Herbed Sourdough Stuffing in our Savoring the Seasons Cook Book, on page. 163. It’s loaded with buttery chunks of sourdough bread, fresh herbs, and bright lemon.

I could go on and on, but I’m going to stop with those favorites. One of our most favorite things to hear is how our recipes have become family traditions in your homes as well, so we sure hope you continue to find things you love! We’d love to hear about some of your foodie traditions. If you had ONE thing that was a must, must make at your Thanksgiving, what is it??
