Рецепт Thai Sweet Chili Chicken Skewers #SundaySupper
by Marlene Baird

These sticky Thai Sweet Chili Chicken Skewers are delicious served with a made-from-scratch Thai Sweet Chili Sauce and full of Asian flavors.

Do you get all worked up for the Oscars? I am not a huge movie buff. I love movies. I love them better when I get to watch them at home. You see, when I watch them from home, I can create a fantastic spread of food. I don’t have to eat crappy popcorn,or hotdogs with a large twenty five dollar watered down drink.

But the other great thing about the Oscars is an excuse to have a party or prepare red carpet worthy dishes.

Today I have prepared for you a fantastic appetizer dish that can be made into a main dish as well. This week the Sunday Supper movement is sharing our red carpet recipes with all of you.

Appetizers need to be easy to eat and not too messy. By adding a little bit of the Thai Sweet Chili sauce into these little dishes and then placing the chicken skewers on top makes this an easy to eat delicious, lip smacking appetizer that you will all be clamoring for more.

Thai Sweet Chili Chicken Skewers Author: Marlene Baird Prep time: 15 mins Cook time: 8 mins Total time: 23 mins

2 Tablespoons lime juice 3 Tablespoons Avocado oil 2 teaspoons reduced-sodium soy sauce 2 teaspoons fish sauce ½ teaspoon crushed red pepper 1 pound chicken tenders, cut into bite site pieces

To marinate chicken: Whisk lime juice, oil, soy sauce, fish sauce and crushed red pepper in a shallow baking dish until combined; add chicken and turn to coat. Let marinate in the refrigerator for 15 minutes. Preheat grill to high. To grill chicken and serve: Thread each chicken tender onto a wooden skewer. Grill the chicken skewers until cooked through and no longer pink in the middle, about 3 minutes per side. Serve warm or chilled with my homemade Sweet Chile Sauce for dipping. Tip: To prevent wooden skewers from burning on the grill, wrap the exposed portion in foil before grilling. (Contrary to popular wisdom, soaking them in water doesn't prevent them from burning.) 2 skewers per serving as an appetizer 3.2.2925
