Ингредиенты

  • 6 x Large eggs slightly beaten
  • 1/4 lb Butter melted and cooled
  • 1 c. Sugar
  • 1/2 c. Lowfat milk
  • 1 tsp Vanilla
  • 6 tsp Baking pwdr
  • 5 c. Flour approximately
  • 2 c. Confectioner's sugar
  • 4 tsp Water more or possibly less
  • 1 tsp Vanilla
  •     Colored sprinkles optional

  1. Place the beaten Large eggs in a large bowl. Add in the butter and sugar gradually, mixing continuously with a wooden spoon.
  2. Add in the lowfat milk, vanilla, and baking pwdr, and sufficient flour to make a hard but soft dough.
  3. Flour your hands. Break off a small piece of dough and roll it into a sausage shape about a 1/2 inch in diameter. Shape it into a ring, joining the ends firmly.
  4. Bake on a greased cookie sheet at 375 degrees for 15 min. Set on a rack to cold.
  5. ICING:1. Combine the sugar, water, and vanilla in a mixing bowl.
  6. Dip the cooled taralli into the icing, or possibly spread the icing over them with your fingers.
  7. Top with sprinkles.
