Рецепт Tangy Avocado Chutney
A Traditional Guacamole recipe calls for tomato, onion, garlic, lemon juice, salt and seasonings added to mashed ripe Avocados. In this fusion I have added a dash of Cilantro, Mint & added the tanginess by introducing Tamarind Paste. Result was great & my guests Ryan and Kelly Loved it. Here's the recipe...
Ingredients:
- 1 Medium Ripe Avocado
- 1/2 Tomato
- 1/2 Onion
- 1/4 Cup Fresh Cilantro Leaves
- 1/4 cup Fresh Mint Leaves
- 1 Tsp Tamarind Paste
- 1 tsp Lemon Juice
- 1/2 tsp Salt
- 1/4 Tsp Chunky Chaat Masala
- A Pinch of dry cumin Powder and red pepper
Method: -
Chop onions, tomatoes & scoop out the pulp of avocado.
Mix cilantro, mint and add seasoning to taste.
Give this mix a quick churn in a mixer, not more than 2 mins. Add tamarind paste and lemon juice for tanginess.
As my dishwasher was full, so I couldn't resist taking out the chutney in the shell of avocado itself. Tangy Avocado Chutney is ready to go, serve with Chips or Crackers.....
