Рецепт Takoyaki Jyuhachiban たこ焼十八番 道頓堀店 (Dotonbori, Osaka, Japan)
My favourite Japanese Street Food is the Takoyaki, this very soft octopus filled savoury batter is so irresistible for me and I had it in Osaka with the full experience of queueing in a really long line just to give it a shot, was it all worth it? One of our itinerary in Osaka– was to visit this street in Dotonbori filled with hundreds of street food shops and the possibility of trying most of their specialties, this was one of them. The clue was not hard to find as the minute we were near this place the queue was quite long, luckily the make them really fast and there were lots of them preparing this street food delight. Takoyaki here is served with three types of sauces: salt, sauce, sauce and mayonnaise but if you like to try two flavours you can order half and half. For 6 pcs it costs ¥380 while the 10 pcs give you more value for money as they only cost ¥600.00. I opted for the 10 pcs but I feel like another 10 more, it was so good, I felt like I was in heaven on every bite of this amazing Japanese culinary creation, the combination of textures and umami flavours is just a pleasure inside your mouth.Though takoyaki here is not 5 times better compared to what we have here in New Zealand the experience of having it Osaka is quite different, it’s like watching a concert on a wide screen TV then comparing it to watching it on Stage, it’s the mixture of everything, the long queue, the sights, the scent, the people, the environment and the authentic ingredients that makes the whole experience way much better.Takoyaki Jyuhachiban Address: 3-17-17 Nishinakajima, Yodogawa-ku, Osaka, Osaka Prefecture, Japan Phone: +81 6-6306-1853 Website: http://d-sons18.co.jp/ Share this:Click to share on Facebook (Opens in new window)Click to share on Pinterest (Opens in new window)Click to share on Twitter (Opens in new window)Click to share on LinkedIn (Opens in new window)Click to share on Google+ (Opens in new window)Click to share on Pocket (Opens in new window)Click to share on Tumblr (Opens in new window)Click to share on WhatsApp (Opens in new window)Share on Skype (Opens in new window)Click to share on Reddit (Opens in new window)Click to share on Telegram (Opens in new window)Click to print (Opens in new window)Click to email this to a friend (Opens in new window)Like this:Like Loading...
