%20and%20is%20now%20slightly%20below%20my%20pre-pregnancy%20weight.%20It%20wasn't%20easy%20and%20that%20took%20me%206%20months%20to%20achieve%20it.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3E(yes%20me%20and%20my%20big%20tum%20tum%20and%20massive%20weight%20gain%20at%2037%20weeks%20pregnant)%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EI%20was%20glad%20though,%20that%20my%20focus%20wasn't%20about%20losing%20weight%20initially.%20It%20was%20about%20getting%20fitter%20and%20fuelling%20my%20body%20right.%20I%20started%20writing%20a%20food%20diary%20and%20eating%20well-%20like%20really%20well.%20I'm%20talking%20clean%20food%2090%25%20of%20the%20time%20and%20treats%2010%25.%20As%20you%20have%20read%20here,%20I%20love%20my%20food%20so%20it%20is%20impossible%20of%20to%20survive%20on%20a%20diet%20of%20lettuce%20leaves%20and%20chicken%20breasts.%20I%20eat%20beef,%20lamb,%20seafood,%20all%20kinds%20of%20vegetables%20and%20listened%20to%20my%20body.%20For%20snacks,%20I%20had%20eggs,%20nuts,%20chia%20pudding,%20cheese,%20home%20made%20granola%20bars%20and%20muesli,%20yogurt%20and%20bliss%20balls%20(and%20all%20the%20bakes%20I%20make!).%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EExercise?%20I%20went%20slow.%20I%20went%20for%20daily%20walks,%20then%20pilates%20and%20mums%20and%20bubs%20swimming%20classes.%20I%20returned%20back%20to%20met%20con,%20konga%20and%20boxing-%20and%20here%20I%20am.%20In%20the%20process,%20I%20won%20a%20challenge%20set%20by%20my%20gym%20and%20is%20now%20fitter%20than%20ever%20before.%20I'm%20not%20stick%20thin%20and%20is%20actually%20the%20happiest%20I%20have%20been%20with%20the%20way%20I%20look.%20I%20don't%20judge%20myself%20as%20much%20as%20more%20importantly,%20I%20feel%20strong.%20%20At%20the%20moment,%20I%20go%20to%20the%20gym%204x%20a%20week-%20twice%20met%20con%20and%20twice%20boxing.%20I%20walk%20with%20my%20husband%20and%20baby%20all%20other%20days%20and%20try%20to%20incorporate%20pilates%20stretches%20on%20other%20days.%20When%20I%20feel%20like%20it,%20I%20might%20throw%20in%20a%20home%20body%20workout%20here%20and%20there-%20but%20that's%20not%20often.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EThe%20other%20day,%20a%20good%20friend%20told%20me%20that%20she%20wants%20to%20practise%20clean%20eating%20too.%20%20So%20she%20came%20over%20for%20lunch%20after%20her%20workout%20and%20we%20tucked%20into%20some%20healthy%20tuna%20and%20sweet%20potato%20patties.%20Oh,%20the%20kids%20loved%20it%20too!%20I%20feel%20proud%20when%20friends%20and%20family%20believed%20in%20what%20I%20am%20doing.%20Perhaps%20to%20the%20rest%20of%20the%20world,%20it%20may%20seem%20strange%20or%20obsess%20or%20I%20am%20not%20eaten%20%22real%20food%22.%20Trust%20me,%20I%20am.%20When%20does%20eating%20non%20processed%20packaged%20stuff%20(including%20breakfast%20cereals)%20become%20real?%20We%20have%20become%20mesmerised%20by%20the%20media%20my%20friends.%20It's%20time%20to%20get%20down%20to%20the%20basics%20I%20reckon.%20And%20enjoy%20food%20the%20way%20it%20is%20supposed%20to%20be%20enjoyed.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3ESweet%20Potato%20Coconut%20Tuna%20Patties%20(around%2016%20patties)%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3E1%20sweet%20potato%20steamed%20or%20roasted%20in%20oven.%20Mashed%20it.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3ECombine%20all%20ingredients%20in%20a%20bowl%20and%20mix%20well%20with%20a%20spoon%20or%20your%20hands.%20Shape%20into%20patties%20and%20fry%20them%20in%20a%20pan%20using%20coconut%20oil.%20Serve%20with%20a%20side%20salad.%3C/p%3E){kind=link}
