Swedish Meatballs With Sour Cream

Ингредиенты

  • 1 1/2 lbs. hamburger
  • 1/2 c. lowfat milk
  • 2 c. soft bread cubes
  • 1/2 onion, minced
  • 7 T butter
  • 1 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 2 teaspoon nutmeg
  • 2 teaspoon paprika
  • 1 teaspoon dry mustard
  • 1/4 teaspoon pepper
  • 3 large eggs
  • 1/4 teaspoon garlic salt
  • 1/4 c. flour
  • 2 teaspoon tomato paste
  • 1 bouillon cube
  • 1 can consomme soup
  • 1 c. lowfat sour cream

  1. Soak bread in lowfat milk. Squeeze dry and add in to meat. Brown the onions in butter and add in to hamburger with salt, nutmeg, paprika, dry mustard, pepper and beaten large eggs. Mix well and form into 48 small balls. They will be mushy.Brown in butter. Remove from pan and make sauce. Blend in flour, tomato paste, bouillon cube and consomme (add in sufficient water to make 2 cups). Stir over low heat till thick. Add in meatballs. Just before serving stir in lowfat sour cream and heat through.
