With the exception of a couple of forays out for supplies, I have been in my pajamas, sitting in my favorite chair with a cold. Usually when I’m home sick, I end up binging on period drama–it’s how I got through the first three seasons of Downton Abbey. But that wasn’t what I was in the mood for this go round. So instead, I’ve been binging on cowboy romance. Because I have discovered Maisey Yates.

.%20%20The%20Copper%20Ridge%20series%20(thus%20far)%20mostly%20revolves%20around%20the%20Garrett%20family,%20and%20I%20love%20the%20crap%20out%20of%20that%20kind%20of%20thing.%20%20Seriously%20well%20done.%20%20Can%E2%80%99t%20wait%20for%20more.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EI%20also%20did%20some%20writing.%20%20Got%20the%20next%20scene%20done%20in%20my%20seekrit%20project%20and%20the%20new%20opening%20chapter%20down%20for%20Something%E2%80%99s%20Gotta%20Give.%20%20It%20didn%E2%80%99t%20come%20out%20exactly%20like%20I%20expected,%20but%20I%20think%20it%20came%20out%20better.%20%20I%20got%20about%20half%20through%20another%20scene%20today%20but%20because%20of%20some%20of%20the%20changes%20I%20made%20in%20the%20second%20scene,%20I%20needed%20to%20change%20directions.%20%20But%20that%E2%80%99s%20fine.%20%20Once%20I%20hit%20the%20inciting%20incident,%20things%20will%20settle%20into%20a%20groove.%20%20They%E2%80%99re%20beating%20a%20lot%20louder%20in%20my%20head%20than%20they%20were%20a%20few%20weeks%20ago.%20%20About%203500%20words%20over%20sick%20days%20seems%20like%20a%20significant%20accomplishment.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EFinally%20feeling%20like%20a%20human%20again.%20%20The%20pajama%20days%20have%20been%20nice,%20but%20I%E2%80%99m%20definitely%20looking%20forward%20to%20getting%20back%20into%20routine%20and%20being%20dressed%20like%20a%20human%20fit%20for%20public.%20%20I%E2%80%99m%20sure%20there%20are%20about%20a%20thousand%20things%20I%E2%80%99ll%20need%20to%20catch%20up%20on%20%20at%20work%20when%20I%20get%20there%20tomorrow,%20but%20I%20won%E2%80%99t%20think%20about%20that%20until%20tomorrow.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3ETAGS:Kait%20Nolan%20/%20Personal%20/%20Progress%20Reports%20/%20ROW80%20/%20Writing%3C/p%3E){kind=link}
