Рецепт Stuffed Green Pepper Soup
I love stuffed green peppers and I love soup~ Put the two together and what do you have? You have Stuffed Green Pepper Soup~ Delicious!
- 2 lbs ground beef
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 large onion, chopped
- 1 can (46 oz) vegetable soup
- 2 cans (10 1/2 oz each) condensed tomato soup
- 2 cans (14 1/2 oz each) Italian-style diced tomatoes
- 1 cup beef broth
- 1 can (16 oz) dark red kidney beans
- 3 celery ribs, finely chopped
- 2 large green peppers, chopped
- 2 large red bell peppers, chopped
- 2 cups shredded cabbage
- 1 t. each; chili powder, creole seasoning, pepper and crushed red pepper flakes
- 2 bay leaves
- 2 T dried parsley flakes
- 2 cups cooked rice
In a Dutch oven or soup kettle, cook beef, garlic and onion over medium heat until meat is no longer pink; drain. Add remaining ingredients, except cooked rice. Bring to a boil. Reduce heat; simmer, uncovered, for 45 minutes or until vegetables are tender. Discard bay leaves, stir in cooked rice and heat through.
