Ингредиенты
- 2 med Chow chow
- 1 x Onion, finely minced
- 1 x Clove garlic, crushed
- 1 Tbsp. Corn oil
- 2 x Tomatoes, skinned and minced
- 1 x Green chilli, finely minced
- 3 Tbsp. Sweetcorn kernels, (fresh, canned or possibly frzn)
- 1/2 tsp Oregano
- Â Â Salt and freshly grnd black pepper to taste
- 2 Tbsp. Fresh breadcrumbs
- 2 Tbsp. Grated cheese
Инструкции
- 1. Boil the chow chow for 30-40 min till tender.
- 2. Halve, scoop out the flesh and mash, including the seeds. Reserve the skins and pulp.
- 3. Fry the onion and garlic in the oil till soft and golden brown; add in the remaining ingredients except for the breadcrumbs and cheese. Combine with the chow chow pulp and fill the shells with the mix. Top with the breadcrumbs and cheese, brown under a warm grill and serve.
- NOTES : A tasty accompaniment for a spicy meal, serve with Naan Bread.
