Strip Steak Sandwiches

INGREDIENTS:

In a small skillet, saute mushrooms until brown, then add in the Dawn Fresh Mushroom and Steak Sauce, heat over low. In another skillet, saute the onion and peppers until lightly browned. In an additional skillet, pan fry the strip steak for about 1 minute per side, or until just done, but still a little red in the middle. Toast your buns under a broiler, then add the meat, the veggies, the mushroom sauce and the cheese. Oh yum, perfect sandwiches in minutes.

*I used filet mignon for this-now before you think I am a Prima Donna hear me out–For 5 sandwiches I only used about 1/2 pound of meat because I very thinly cut the meat**. This is a much better choice of meat if you want tender, pull apart sandwiches.

**To best cut the meat very thinly, freeze for about 30 minutes before slicing–or have your butcher do it for you.
