Strawberry Salad
The best part about summer?? The wonderful salads and fresh ingredients!! Am I right?? My sister-in-law brought this for a recent get-together and it was so refreshing and the strawberries are SO good right now!!
Strawberry Salad
INGREDIENTS:
- 3/4 cup light mayonnaise
- 1/4 cup milk
- 2 tablespoons poppy seeds
- 2 tablespoons raspberry vinegar
- 1/2 cup sugar
DIRECTIONS:
Mix all the ingredients together and set aside.
To make the salad: Shred 1 head of Romaine lettuce into a bowl. Cut up 1 pint of strawberries and toss in. Dice 1/2 of a medium onion, mix in and add the dressing, toss and top with 1/2 cup of toasted almonds when ready to serve.
