%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EIn%20a%20large%20bowl,%20beat%20cream%20cheese%20until%20fluffy.%20%20Beat%20in%20condensed%20milk,%20pudding%20mix,%20cold%20milk%20and%20vanilla%20until%20smooth.%20%20Fold%20in%201/2%20of%20the%20whipped%20topping.%20%20Line%20the%20bottom%20of%20a%209%20x%2013%20x%202%20dish%20with%20vanilla%20wafers.%20%20Arrange%20sliced%20bananas%20evenly%20over%20wafers.%20%20Spread%20with%20pudding%20mixture.%20%20Top%20with%20remaining%20whipped%20topping.%20%20Chill.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EStranded%20In%20Time%20-%20Review%20by%20Martha%20A.%20Cheves,%20Author%20of%20Stir,%20Laugh,%20Repeat;%20Think%20With%20Your%20Taste%20Buds,%20A%20Book%20and%20A%20Dish%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3E%22You%20know%20how%20it%20started?%20%20There%20was%20a%20crack%20in%20that%20wall.%20%20I%20didn't%20discover%20it%20until%20I%20worked%20there%20for%20about%20six%20months.%20%20I%20subbed%20for%20the%20teacher,%20and%20I%20just%20had%20to%20use%20the%20bathroom.%20%20Normally%20I%20used%20the%20one%20we%20had%20in%20the%20teachers'%20lounge,%20but%20we%20had%20a%20fire%20drill%20that%20day.%20%20We%20had%20to%20stand%20outside%20longer%20than%20I%20thought,%20after%20getting%20all%20those%20kids%20out%20of%20the%20building.%20%20On%20our%20way%20back%20in,%20I%20excused%20myself%20form%20the%20class%20to%20use%20the%20bathroom.%20%20I%20had%20one%20of%20the%20more%20responsible%20girls%20watch%20the%20others,%20which%20made%20it%20fun%20for%20her.%20%20She%20loved%20playing%20teacher,%20you%20know.%20%20I%20knew%20it%20wouldn't%20take%20me%20long%20to%20pop%20in%20and%20out.%20%20And%20there%20it%20was.%20%20I%20could%20hear%20cheers..%20%20I%20could%20eve%20hear%20a%20coach%20training%20them.%20%20I%20tried%20to%20look%20through%20the%20crack,%20but%20all%20I%20saw%20was%20light%20coming%20form%20the%20gymnasium%20floor...%20I%20kept%20going%20back%20to%20that%20room.%20%20I'd%20sneak%20in%20after%20school%20was%20out.%20%20Sometimes%20I%20heard%20nothing.%20%20Other%20times,%20there%20were%20kids%20shooting%20hoops%20before%20a%20practice%20and%20setting%20up%20for%20school%20plays.%20%20I%20was%20becoming%20obsessed.%20%20I%20would%20watch%20through%20the%20crack,%20and%20the%20only%20time%20I%20saw%20any%20kids%20was%20when%20someone%20was%20on%20the%20stage....%20I%20made%20sure%20the%20place%20was%20empty%20before%20I%20started%20knocking%20down%20the%20wall%20with%20my%20hammer.%22%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3ESamantha%20(Sam)%20has%20a%20paper%20to%20write%20for%20school.%20%20Her%20professor%20told%20the%20class%20it%20could%20be%20anything%20as%20long%20as%20it%20wasn't%20something%20that%20had%20been%20covered%20in%20the%20news.%20%20Sam%20decided%20to%20write%20her%20paper%20on%20her%20mother's%20family,%20which%20she%20actually%20knew%20very%20little%20about.%20%20She%20knew%20her%20mother%20had%20gone%20to%20Lotus%20School%20for%20just%20a%20few%20years%20and%20then%20she%20and%20her%20mother%20had%20moved%20away.%20%20Her%20mother%20had%20never%20been%20married%20to%20her%20father%20who%20had%20been%20just%20a%20one%20night%20stand.%20%20After%20her%20mother's%20death%20due%20to%20a%20wreck,%20Sam%20had%20met%20and%20gone%20to%20live%20with%20her%20father.%20%20She%20now%20wanted%20to%20know%20more%20about%20her%20mother%20and%20the%20relatives%20she%20never%20knew.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3ESam's%20adventure%20starts%20when%20she%20goes%20to%20Lotus%20School,%20which%20is%20no%20longer%20in%20use,%20just%20to%20be%20closer%20to%20where%20her%20mother%20grew%20up.%20%20It%20was%20at%20the%20school%20that%20she%20discovered%20a%20little%20girl%20playing%20on%20the%20stage%20behind%20the%20wall%20that%20had%20a%20hole%20in%20it.%20%20As%20she%20stepped%20through%20the%20hole,%20she%20found%20herself%20in%20another%20time.%20%20Sam%20had%20just%20stepped%20back%20into%20the%201970's.%20%20Her%20great-grandmother%20was%20still%20alive,%20as%20was%20her%20grandmother%20and%20her%20own%20mother%20was%20just%20a%20child.%20%20Then%20she%20meets%20Suzanne.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3ESam%20came%20into%20this%20past%20world%20with%20knowledge%20of%20what%20the%20future%20holds.%20%20She,%20along%20with%20Suzanne,%20can%20make%20changes%20and%20correct%20some%20of%20the%20events%20to%20happen...%20but%20will%20they?...%20should%20they?%20%20There%20is%20a%20child%20that%20will%20die,%20unless%20Sam%20and%20Suzanne%20can%20prevent%20it%20from%20happening%20but%20if%20they%20do%20what%20will%20it%20change%20in%20the%20future?%20%20What%20will%20any%20events%20that%20take%20place%20in%20the%201970's%20change%20in%20the%20future%20if%20they%20try%20to%20make%20changes?%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EThis%20book%20took%20me%20just%20a%20few%20pages%20to%20become%20involved%20in%20the%20story%20but%20when%20I%20did,%20I%20didn't%20want%20to%20stop%20reading.%20%20As%20each%20event%20is%20to%20take%20place,%20I%20find%20myself%20wondering%20how%20this%20is%20going%20to%20affect%20Sam's%20life%20if%20she%20ever%20makes%20it%20back%20to%20her%20own%20time.%20%20And%20if%20she%20doesn't,%20what%20will%20happen%20when%20her%20mother%20grows%20up%20and%20gives%20birth%20to%20her?%20%20Will%20there%20be%202%20Sams%20in%20the%20world%20or%20will%20she%20not%20be%20born%20at%20all?%20%20This%20book%20was%20a%20very%20entertaining%20read%20that%20I%20really%20enjoyed.%3C/p%3E){kind=link}
