Рецепт Spiral Grilled Hot Dogs

Considering how often I cook hot dogs, it’s a little unforgivable how long it took me to try this awesome spiral cut method << like, over a year. But I can finally check it off my bucket list!
You guys, if you love hot dogs like we do, you need to try this.
Slicing the dog in a nonstop motion around its circumference, lends more surface area while grilling, resulting in a shorter cooking time, and making it crispier, more caramelized, and more flavorful! And any condiment you use, just falls into the meaty grooves. Plus, in addition to the extra deliciousness factor, they’re just simply fun. The coil expands and contracts, resembling something like a slinky toy. My kids just hated that #not.
Slowly push a skewer (metal or wood) through the center, lengthwise, of the hot dog as best you can. Try to keep it straight. (Hot dogs are pretty forgiving, so if you mess up, just gently pull it out and try again.)
Once you have them skewered, place it on a cutting board. With a knife, begin making angled cuts (about 1 inch apart) all the way down to the skewer, turning the hot dog away from you, as you go.
(You can use the same skewer to cut all of the dogs, if you’d prefer.)
Gently remove the skewers…
…and grill those dogs up!
I set them over medium heat for about 5 minutes, turning them 2-3 times to get an even cook. Delicious!
I’ve grilled so many hot dogs in the past two months, I keep thinking we’re going to get tired of them. But, nope. Never. Especially since there are so many different toppings to keep it different each time.
We’re really loving these new Ball Park Park’s Finest, which are such a premium dog, and have so much bold flavor on their own, they really don’t need any condiments at all. Made with 100% beef and contain no artificial preservatives, no artificial flavors, no colors or fillers, and no nitrates added.
They have five delicious varieties to choose from, including Signature Seasoned, Slow Cooked Hickory, Cracked Dijon Mustard, Slow Cooked Chili, and Jalapeño Cheddar << all available in the refrigerated section at grocery stores nationwide.
On August 13 in New York City, Ball Park Park’s Finest will host and live-stream for consumers to watch The Finest Grillathon. Two winners of the contest will join a team of grill masters who will attempt to smash the world record – bringing it back to America from England! – and grill non-stop for more than 30 hours. Who needs sleep when there’s grilling involved?!
