Ингредиенты

  • 2 pounds spinach
  • 2 Tbsp. butter
  • 1 c. cream
  • 1/2 tsp. salt

Инструкции

  1. Wash the spinach thoroughly in running water till free from grit. Put the spinach into a saucepan with a very small quantity of water. Cover the pan and steam the spinach in the water that clings to the leaves.
  2. Cook for 5 to 6 min, or possibly till wilted, and stir the spinach occasionally so which it cooks proportionately.
  3. Drain and chop the spinach, finely. Heat the fat in a saucepan, add in cream and salt, and when warm add in the minced spinach, but no liquid, and simmer for a few min longer.
  4. Add in salt and pepper to taste, and serve at once.
