- 4 pounds meaty pork spareribs or
- pork loin back ribs, cut into serving pieces
- 2 cups sweet orange marmalade
- 1 cups water
- 1 cup reduced-sodium soy sauce
- 2 T chili paste
- 1 t garlic powder
- 1 t ground ginger
- 1/4 t pepper
- Orange wedges
- Green onion brushes
- Place ribs meaty side down in a shallow roasting pan
- Roast, uncovered in a 425º oven for 30 minutes
- Remove from oven
- Carefully drain off fat
- Turn ribs meaty side up
- Reduce oven temperature to 350º
- Continue roasting ribs, covered for 1 hour
- Remove from oven
- Carefully drain off fat
- In a medium bowl
- combine marmalade, water, soy sauce
- chili paste, garlic powder, ginger and pepper
- Stir together well
- Pour over ribs
- Roast ribs, covered for 30 minutes
- Uncover, roast 30 minutes longer
- Spooning sauce over ribs occasionally
