Рецепт Spaghetti with Chicken, Mushrooms and Greek Olives
I love pasta… All shapes and sizes.
I like to pair pasta with the sauce or other ingredients in the dish.
Mon mari doesn’t care about all that.
He no longer likes / wants to eat ‘short’ pastas like penne or rigatoni or farfalle.
But he’s very happy to eat fettuccine or linguine or spaghetti with whatever I want to put on top..
I do aim to please…..

Exciting news chez nous!
We think.there’s exciting news, anyway..
We don’t know for sure.
We’re getting conflicting reports and are unable to verify the facts.
We think that might be because the actual, detailed route hasn’t been released yet.
I’m talking about next summer’s Tour de France.
Rumor has it that it will be going right past our house,
Well, on the main road in front of our house, not on our actual little lane.
But still, we could stroll to the top of the hill or even sit on our roof and watch it all go by.
My French class is positive it will; mon mari’s class is positive it won’t.
La Vuelta (the Spanish ‘Tour’) went past our house when we lived in Andorra.
Seriously, right past our house…. We were on the balcony and could have thrown water on the riders (not that we would, of course).
We lived ‘on the hill’, halfway up to the peak of La Rabassa,
The road up is a rather steep climb to just under 2100 meters.
They closed the road to car traffic early in the morning and put bales of straw on all the outside corners. Wouldn’t want a rider to misjudge and end up in the village below. It’s rather a long way down….
We were amazed at how fast they went up the mountain.
And really amazed at how fast they came down….
They pedaled down the mountain.
I can’t make my legs go fast enough to pedal down a small hill.
Of course, their bikes may be a little different than mine….
For those of you who don’t know the ‘tours’ are serious business and serious events here, with the Tour de France being the biggest and most well-known.
Exciting times indeed…..
