Spaghetti Pie
Comfort Food at it's Finest:)
- 1 lb. spaghetti, cooked and drained
- 4 cups shredded Swiss cheese
- 1 1/2 T flour
- 1/2 t salt
- 1/4 t pepper
- 3/4 t dry mustard
- 3 3/4 cup milk
- 3 large eggs, lightly beaten
- 2 T butter
- Note: Linguine or Angel Hair pasta can be substituted for the Spaghetti.
- Shredded Monterey Jack cheese can be substituted for the shredded Swiss cheese
Preheat oven to 350º
Place half of cooked spaghetti in a lightly buttered 13 x 9 inch baking dish; sprinkle with half of cheese. Repeat procedure.
Combine flour, salt, pepper, and dry mustard in a small bowl. Whisk in 1 T milk. Add remaining milk and eggs to flour mixture, stirring with a wire whisk until blended. Pour milk mixture over spaghetti mixture. Dot with butter.
Bake at 350 for 45 minutes or until set. Let stand 5 minutes before serving. Serve with sliced tomatoes~ Enjoy!
