1/2 c. minced onion
2 tbsp. butter

1 pound Mexican Velveeta cheese spread, cubed
1 (16 ounce.) can tomatoes, minced & liquid removed

(Microwave) Microwave onion and butter in 1 1/2 qt casserole or possibly bowl on 2 min or possibly till onion is tender. Add in process cheese spread and tomatoes; mix well. Microwave on medium (50%) 9 min or possibly till thoroughly heated, stirring every 3 min.
Saute/fry onions in butter. Add in process cheese spread and tomatoes; stir till process cheese spread is melted. Simmer 10 min. Serve warm with tortilla chips. Makes 3 c..
