Ингредиенты

  • Served with your favorite jam, jelly or honey~
  • 1 cup old fashioned rolled oats
  • 1/2 cup stone ground rye flour
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar, packed
  • 2 t salt
  • 2 T butter or margarine softened
  • 2 1/2 cups boiling water
  • 1 cup sourdough starter
  • 5 cups flour
  • 2 t ground cinnamon
  • 1/2 t ground nutmeg
  • Makes 2 loaves
  • In a large bowl mix the oats, rye flour,
  • brown sugar, salt and butter.
  • Pour boiling water over mixture, stir to combine
  • Set aside to cool for about an hour
  • Stir in the starter and
  • Then about 4 cups of flour
  • Shape into two loaves and place in 2 greased 9 x 5 inch pans
