Рецепт Sourdough Hotcakes

Ингредиенты

2 c. sourdough starter 2 tbsp. sugar 4 tbsp. vegetable oil

1 egg 1/2 teaspoon salt 1 scant teaspoon soda (more if needed. Soda will sweeten a very sour starter)

Инструкции

1. Place starter in nonmetal bowl. Add in sugar, egg and oil. Mix well. Just before you start cooking the cakes mix the soda with 1 Tbsp. hot water. Fold gently into sourdough. Don't BEAT. Bake on warm griddle and serve on hot plates.
2. Can sprinkle a few berries of choice over each cake on griddle, then turn and finish cooking. See Starter recipe this section.
