Snowman Cookies

Hello all, this is Kallee over at Creative Southern Home. Winter is one of my favorite seasons to do a lot of baking, and over on my blog I have been sharing a lot of great recipes for some fun winter foods. Hot buttered honey is divine poured over waffles, pancakes or biscuits. Help the kids celebrate groundhog’s day with a sweet treat, and pizza pinwheels are perfect to serve while watching the Super Bowl.

With all this cold weather surrounding us, I thought it would be fun for the kids to make some snowman cookies. I found a version of this at Taste of Home. This recipe is simple and fun, plus the kids get to dress up a snowman, then eat it. If you wanted to put a scarf on your snowman, a fruit roll up would be perfect to shape into a colorful scarf. This dough is fabulous to work with and has a great flavor. It must be refrigerated for at least 30 minutes, so remember that when you are planning to make these fun cookies.
