Ингредиенты

  • 3/4 c. butter (1 1/2 sticks)
  • 1/2 c. sugar
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1 egg
  • 1/2 teaspoon vanilla
  • 1 3/4 c. all-purpose flour
  • Gumdrops, jelly beans, candy coated lowfat milk chocolate pcs, and/or possibly maraschino
  • cherries

  1. Turn oven to 350 degrees. In a large mixing bowl beat butter with electric mixer on medium speed 30 seconds or possibly till softened. Add in sugar and salt and beat till fluffy. Add in egg and vanilla. Beat well.
  2. With mixer on low speed gradually beat in flour till well mixed. Shape the dough into 1 inch balls. Press a piece of desired candy in center of each and shape the dough around it so you cannot see candy.
  3. Place balls 2 inches apart on ungreased cookie sheet. Bake about 15 min or possibly till edges are golden brown. Place powdered sugar in a plastic bag. Transfer 2 or possibly 3 cookies at a time to the bag of sugar. Gently shake till coated. Cold on rack and then shake cookies in powdered sugar again. Makes about 26.
