Рецепт Snacking brighter this summer with Outshine Bars
by Anne-Marie Nichols

As I write this, there are only a couple of weeks left to the school year. That means I’ll soon have two kids at home much of the day eating me out of house and home when they’re not at camp. I want to make sure that the food on hand is as good for them as possible. However, I’m going to go easy on myself this year by relying on good-for-you snacks from the store like Outshine Simply Yogurt Bars and Outshine Fruit Bars.

Usually I make my own frozen treats, but I just won’t have time this summer as we’re in the middle of two bathroom remodels. I have a couple of business trips planned as does my husband. Instead of a relaxing summer, it’s going to be busy, busy, busy!

Snack brighter with Outshine!

What I like about Outshine Bars is that for more than 20 years, they’ve made a large variety of delicious frozen fruit bars out of real ingredients like fruit, yogurt, vegetables, and coconut. They use simple, honest ingredients that taste as good as they make you feel. Kids love them and moms love serving them!

Also, Outshine is a company you can feel good about supporting as they give back to the community through programs like “Communities Take Root” and “A Million Ways to Outshine®” where they planted more than 60 community orchards and donated one million pounds of produce to food desert areas in the US. Outside also supports Feeding America by providing fresh fruits and vegetables to communities in need.

So far my favorite is the Creamy Coconut Outshine Fruit Bar. (I love coconut anything, so no surprise there!) The kids are loving the new Outshine Simply Yogurt Bars.

Shopping at Walmart for all our snacking needs!

I’ve come up with a “battle plan” to stock the kitchen with lots of good treats so the kids can make their own meals and snacks when they come home from camp or need to pack something to take with them. I figure a well-stocked kitchen will help save me time and lots of headaches, so I’ll be stopping by Walmart after dropping Lucie off at camp or Nathan at wrestling practice in the mornings. (I love going to Walmart to shop in the mornings when no one’s around.)

If you’re a Walmart shopper, there’s going to be an Outshine Bar demo at 2,000 Walmart locations of Outshine bars. The demos will take place the same time as Walmart's Berry Festival. Click on the links to find out the locations and dates near you!
