- 1/3 cup minced red onion*
- 1/3 cup minced celery
- 2/3 cup good mayonnaise
- 1 tablespoon freshly squeezed lemon juice
- 1/2 teaspoon kosher salt
- 1/8 teaspoon freshly ground black pepper
- 4 ounces cream cheese, softened
- 1 egg beaten with 1 tablespoon of water (for egg wash)
- chopped chives (for garnish)
