Slow Cooker Chuck Roast with Tomato Salsa

Ингредиенты

  • 5-6 pounds Chuck Roast
  • 1-1/2 cups beef broth
  • 2 garlic cloves
  • one bay leaf
  • salt and black pepper, to taste
  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • 3 Roma Tomatoes, cut
  • 1/4 red onion diced
  • one teaspoon parsley flakes
  • one teaspoon garlic salt
  • dash of black pepper
  • balsamic vinegar and Olive oil, to taste

Инструкции

  1. Sear the Chuck Roast with some butter on both sides add to the slow cooker, add beef broth, bay leaf, garlic, s & p, cover on low heat cook 4-5 hours
  2. For the Salsa: Cut tomatoes into pieces and add into a mixing bowl with the remaining ingredients, stir, cover and refrigerate until ready to serve
